All City Council College Day supports OUSD goal of preparing all students to succeed in college and the work place, by helping middle school student create a college-going culture. Students will hear directly from SJSU students on college life, what to expect in college, and how to prepare for college now as a middle school student. They will participate in two workshops; one on college entrance requirements, and another on college life. Students will also experience the college classroom setting through guided campus tours.
