FranklinElementary School has high expectations for all students. We welcome the challenges mandated by the NCLB. FranklinSchool provides a school environment where students, parents and teachers come together in the pursuit of academic advancement. We encourage every student to be a life long learner by providing before, during and after school extended tutorials. We have 11 bilingual classes for Cantonese, Spanish, and Vietnamese students and 20 Structured English Immersion classes for other language groups. We provide Deaf and Hard of Hearing SPED instruction to the OUSD’s K-5 students. We also have a SPED kindergarten and a SPED 4th and 5th grade class. We infuse the core curriculum with an Art Education Program, offering all students music, art, dance, and drama.
