  • 7th Grade Challenge Day (April 2, 13, 14)

Montera 7th graders will participate in the Challenge Day program on April 2rd, 13th and 14th. Like last year, 100 students will participate each day. This powerful one-day program helps young people be honest about their experiences, empathize with other students, and honor all forms of diversity. In order to work, the program requires 25 volunteers/day for the whole school day. Parents, teachers and community members who volunteer for the day will not only make this program possible for our kids, but will also have an eye-opening and inspiring experience. • Fundraising Appeal: Support for John

John is a kind, bright, hard-working, and straight-A Montera student at Montera. Last month, John was taken to the hospital and a brain tumor was discovered. He has been in the ICU for the past couple of weeks, undergoing procedures and intensive surgery. The Montera community wants to relieve some of his family's stress by raising $10,000 to help allay some of their financial needs. To donate, click on the announcement title.
